Why use ON-SITE Services?
Why On-Site? How does this save time and money?

First, some background:

The drug testing process usually begins with the donor selection and the donor (an "employee") leaving the company to drive to an off-site clinic or hospital to provide a urine specimen. However, more and more employers have begun to calculate the true cost of OFF-Site testing versus ON-SITE testing.
  • Wages paid and lost productivity while the employee leaves the worksite and drives to the testing site—this could be anywhere from one to two hours of wages and lost productivity—and if a supervisor escorts the employee it costs even more!!
  • Increased Liability if the employee is in an accident on the way to or from the testing site—your liability for any injury or damages
  • Lost time if the employee is “tempted” to stop for a personal errand, shopping or other activity
  • More time lost if the employee must wait at the clinic to be tested

When you consider all of the costs listed above it is not unusual to have the true cost of your testing program be more than double or triple what you are paying for the actual test—that’s why we believe that ON-SITE saves you time and money. Call us at 402-658-1122 to learn more.

“On-site drug testing” includes two (2) entirely different test processes.

One type of on-site test may be an “instant” test. This test provides instant results and covers 5 or 6 drugs depending on the testing device used. It can be performed anywhere that affords the donor privacy in providing the specimen. The second reference to "on-site" describes the process of having a drug-test specimen collection performed AT
  • Construction Sites
  • Accident Locations
  • Offices or other Company facilities
  • Manufacturing sites
  • Schools
In this type of “on-site” testing the donor or employee is not required to leave their work place. We use the existing bathroom or portable bathrooms for example at a construction site. The urine specimens are then packaged, and shipped over-night to a certified lab for lab based testing. We can accomplish D.O.T. testing ON-SITE by securing all water sources, using “blueing” in the toilet, monitoring the test or by other means to ensure that the D.O.T. regulations are met.
