	Background Check Services
	Background check services will be added in the summer of 2007 Complete Program Coordination: Midlands Testing Services Inc. will coordinate all aspects of your drug testing program—working with your HR or Safety Manager, employees, supervisors, laboratories, collection sites, medical review officers and results reporting.
	Consultation and Policy Development
	We will be glad to assist you by reviewing your current policies, developing additional policies and providing testing procedures for your company. Of course you make the final determination regarding your policies. We can also provide your company with a packet of materials from the Federal Center for Substance Abuse Prevention in English or Spanish especially prepared for smaller employers just beginning to consider implementing drug testing. Your written drug policies are the foundation of a drug free workplace. It should be reviewed by all employees and signed. All new hires should also review and sign the policy.
	Employee Drug Testing
	Midlands Testing Services Inc. will assist your company at every stage of the testing program development, implementation, testing and results reporting procedures. Types of Employer Tests: Breath Alcohol (D.O.T. and non-D.O.T.) Urine Drug Screens—Lab based OR Instant Test (D.O.T. or non-D.O.T.) Hair Testing
	Random Employee Drug Testing
	Midlands Testing Services Inc. can randomly select (using industry accepted random selection process) employees for drug testing in order to meet your company criteria. We can also provide the D.O.T. required information regarding your testing program.
	Post-Accident Post Incident Testing
	Midlands Testing Services Inc. provides post accident/incident testing 24 hours a day. Just call 402-658-1122. Normally, you want to test an employee who is involved in an on-the-job accident (vehicle or other) which may have involved human error which causes a fatality, a serious injury, or property damage. Your policies and procedures need to explain under what circumstances an employee may be tested. Midlands Testing Services Inc. can arrange to meet you in the Emergency Room IF medical treatment is required OR we will come on site OR to the accident location.
	ON-SITE SERVICES—24 Hours a Day
	Midlands Testing Services Inc. will provide ON-SITE services for pre-employment testing—job fairs, hiring blitzes. Randoms—this saves time and money—we come to you. Post-Accident—we come to the accident location, your offices or the ER if medical treatment is necessary How ON-SITE Services can save you time and money!
	Laboratory Based Drug Testing
	All substance abuse specimens submitted to laboratory for testing are initially tested using the enzyme immunoassay (EIA) screening technique. This objective method is both computerized and automated to ensure reliable results and fast turnaround times.
	Instant Testing
	IF your company requires instant testing we can provide a number of test devices that offer employers convenient, rapid results, usually within minutes for illicit drug use. All non-negative test results should be confirmed by a SAMSHA certified lab.
	Training Programs: Supervisors and/or Employees
	Midlands Testing Services Inc. can provide D.O.T. training for employees and/or supervisors of D.O.T. covered employees. This training is required by the D.O.T. We also can provide training for supervisors and management regarding “Reasonable Suspicion Testing” This is important training in light of recent court decisions.
	Medical Review Officer (MRO)
	A Medical Review Officer will review and interpret lab results obtained through the testing program. An essential element of drug testing is the MRO review of results. The employee may be contacted during the review process to gain information regarding diet, over the counter drugs or prescription drugs.
	Pre-employment physicals and/or D.O.T. physicals
	Midlands Testing Services Inc. is happy to assist you in scheduling your physicals with one of our occupational health partners.
